Frequently asked questions

It’s up to you. With such a vast range of kitchens and bathrooms to choose from we won’t limit you to one supplier.

However when we come to see your project for the first time we will happily make recommendations of suppliers we have used in the past and work with you to ensure your project will look fantastic when finished and for years to come.

Should you wish for us to source your new kitchen or bathroom for you, we can take the lead and often provide you with a mock up design of how the finished article will look.

It completely depends on the size and specification that you require. All our garden rooms are custom built, so the best way for us to give you a price is for one of our team to visit you for a free consultation and to discuss your specific needs.

It’s unlikely you will need planning permission. Garden rooms fall under permitted development. As long as we stick to current guidelines which dictate that your garden room must not be larger than 30m2, cover more than 50% of your garden or over 2.5m in height. For more information please visit the Gov.uk permitted development website.

With PDB we cover a vast array of services to cover the entire project such as Plastering, Joinery, Tiling, Plumbing, which means all of the work we carry out is undertaken by our team.

If under certain circumstances other tradesmen are required we can organise all of that for you or we are happy to work alongside your trusted person should you wish.

Most of our customers are based in Harrogate and the surrounding area, however, if you are further afield please get in touch and we can discuss your needs.

You’d be surprised how often we get asked this question! In the early days it was simply Paul’s initials, but we also like to tell people it stands for Plan, Design and Build – we’ll let you decide which you think sounds most interesting!
